Across the King Edward VI Foundation Sixth Forms, students are encouraged to think beyond traditional pathways and discover combinations of subjects that reflect their ambitions, talents and passions.

Across the Foundation, students can choose from an impressive breadth of courses. At King Edward VI Aston School, students can delve into Psychology and Philosophy, while King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys offers subjects including Product Design, Music and Psychology. King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls provides strong pathways across the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, and King Edward VI Five Ways School offers an extensive range that includes Classics, Drama, Music, Philosophy, Politics and Psychology.

Students with a passion for languages and cultures can explore opportunities such as French AS Level at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls, while King Edward VI High School for Girls offers specialist subjects including Classical Greek, Mandarin and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Creative-minded students can pursue Film Studies and Media Studies at King Edward VI Lordswood School for Girls, and King Edward’s School will introduce Business Studies from 2027. Students at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Boys can also enhance their studies through a distinctive enrichment programme, with opportunities to complete the ICDL, undertake an EPQ, and develop practical cooking skills.
