Becoming a partner school

Our partnerships span across the Birmingham region and are designed to support our aim of making Birmingham the best place to be educated in the UK. We want these partnerships to be mutually beneficial, creating more opportunities for primary school pupils, particularly those who are disadvantaged, to engage with our facilities and our academic and enrichment opportunities.

We welcome expressions of interest from primary schools within the Birmingham Local Authority boundary that have an above average percentage of pupils who meet the Pupil Premium criteria.

We recognise school budgets and teacher time are limited, so there are a range of ways that we can support your school to access our offer.

Our impact

Impact reporting is central to the work that we do. We are constantly developing our activities in response to feedback and impact measurements.

We focus on measuring less tangible outcomes such as motivation, conscientiousness, openness and grit with the goal of having a lasting impact on the pupils we work with.

I really enjoyed the volcano eruption experiment we took part in at King Edward VI Aston School

We had a wonderful time during Primary School Week. It has been really positive and our pupils have taken a lot from it. We can’t wait for next year to hopefully do it all again

Year 5 Class Teacher, Anglesey Primary School

This week has been so fun! We met King Edward VI students and they told us about their school experience. My favourite part was making pizza!
