King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls is celebrating an exceptional set of outcomes following its latest Ofsted inspection, with inspectors awarding the school five areas of Exceptional practice and two areas of Strong practice, alongside confirming that the school has an open and positive culture of safeguarding with all areas met.
Under Ofsted's renewed inspection framework, schools no longer receive a single overall effectiveness grade. Instead, inspectors evaluate individual aspects of school performance. In its March 2026 inspection, King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls achieved ‘Exceptional’ judgements for Achievement, Inclusion, Leadership and Governance, Personal Development and Wellbeing, and Post-16 Provision. Inspectors also judged Attendance and Behaviour and Curriculum and Teaching to be of a ‘Strong’ standard.
The report praises the school's "culture of excellence", highlighting the remarkable progress pupils make, the school's deeply embedded commitment to inclusion, and the transformative impact of its personal development programme. Inspectors recognised the school's success in supporting all pupils to achieve highly, noting that disadvantaged pupils consistently perform above national averages and are exceptionally well prepared for their future education and careers.
Ofsted also commended the school’s highly inclusive culture, the expertise of its staff, and the wide range of enrichment opportunities available to students. Inspectors found that pupils thrive because of the bespoke support and high-quality experiences they receive, describing students as responsible, reflective and resilient members of the school community.

The report also highlights the school's outstanding academic performance, noting that pupils achieve exceptionally well across the curriculum and progress to ambitious destinations, while sixth form students benefit from an aspirational programme of study and leadership opportunities that prepare them for success beyond school.
