Julie Waddington, Director of Education at the King Edward VI Foundation, said: “We all send our wholehearted congratulations to pupils who collected their post-16 results on Thursday. Wonderful stories of personal achievement, overcoming adversity, finding a balance between study and extra-curricular pursuits and dreams being realised were on display across all the schools. We thank all colleagues who contributed to our pupils’ achievements and who will continue to support those who may not have got quite what they needed. Our vision is to transform lives and futures through educational opportunity and experience and while we feel this particularly acutely on results days, it’s actually something that we live and breathe to an even greater extent throughout the year. We wish all our departing pupils the very best for the next stage of their journey. Keep in touch!”
