King Edward VI Kings Norton School for Boys is celebrating an outstanding sporting achievement as its Year 8 football team completed a remarkable unbeaten treble-winning season.
The team has achieved remarkably, becoming only the second side in Birmingham schools’ history at this age group to achieve such an impressive feat. Their successful campaign began with a thrilling 5–3 victory in the George Welford Federation Trophy final at the Aston Villa Training Ground.
They continued their winning form by securing the West Midlands Cup with a 5–2 win, before completing the treble in style with an emphatic 8–3 victory in the South Birmingham Cup.
Throughout the season, players have demonstrated exceptional teamwork, resilience and technical skill, establishing themselves as one of the strongest school teams in the region.
