This month, the King Edward VI Foundation proudly welcomed its newest Year 7 pupils through our annual Foundation Ceremonies, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their educational journey.
Bringing together pupils from across our family of schools, the ceremonies provided an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone while introducing pupils to the Foundation’s rich history, traditions and shared values. These values continue to unite our schools and inspire generations of young people to achieve their full potential.
A highlight of each ceremony was the exceptional programme of pupil performances, including some by Year 7s themselves. From uplifting musical pieces to powerful spoken word presentations, pupils showcased remarkable talent, creativity and confidence. Their performances reflected not only their individual dedication but also the vibrant and diverse communities that make up our Foundation.
As we look to the year ahead, we are delighted to welcome our new Year 7 pupils and look forward to watching them grow, thrive and contribute to the continued success of the Foundation.
