King Edward VI Foundation Schools Reign in Parent Power Rankings

Birmingham dominates the educational landscape of the West Midlands and the King Edward VI Foundation has had a key role in the recent Sunday Times Parent Power Rankings. Of our 12 schools, seven feature in the tables covering both Independent and State schools.

Topping the region's state school list is King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys, closely followed by King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls in the second spot.

As mentioned in a previous article, King Edward VI High School for Girls claimed the No 1. place for Independent School with King Edward's School coming in third position.

King Edward VI Five Ways, King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys and King Edward VI Aston School also appear in the list at number 8, 12 and 16 respectively.

These rankings are based on both A-Level and GCSE performance and the report describes the Foundation as 'formidable contenders'.

A huge well done to those schools mentioned.
