Last month, several of our schools took part in Children's Mental Health Week 2026.
From wearing bright colours, to fundraising and delivering inspiring assemblies, it was a fantastic week of care, community building, positivity and connection.
King Edward VI Lordswood School for Girls made their school shine bright by with YoungMinds’ Hello Yellow initiative, which reminds all of us that talking about how our feelings is not just incredibly important, but beautifully empowering too.

At King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls' Academy students came together to host a fantastic accessory sale to spread kindness throughout the school. The corridors were filled with colour, promoting positive mental health for all students and staff.

King Edward VI Northfield School for Girls and King Edward VI King's Norton School for Boys delivered inspiring mental health assemblies to their students, with the message that good mental health is something we all need to look after.
King's Norton School for Boys centred their assemblies along the theme of "Man Up", with an emphasis on the importance of speaking out and creating spaces for boys to feel vulnerable and have the support they need at every opportunity.

What an inspiring week. We are so proud to see all of the amazing things our schools are doing and the positive effect it has on staff and students throughout the Foundation.
