Could all parents who drop off and collect their children from King Edward's School and King Edward VI High School for Girls take note of the following Police message.
We have been informed by the police that they are launching a new initiative whereby owners of vehicles obstructing entry and exit points and illegally parking along Edgbaston Park Road will be issued with a penalty ticket. This is to ensure the safety of pupils, staff, pedestrians and other road users in the vicinity of both Schools and the University of Birmingham.
As you are aware the Parade Ground is available for parents to use from 4pm Monday to Friday.
The new police initiative will begin on Monday 25 February.
The sign shown below will be put up in key areas around the perimeter of the schools and the Foundation Office.
