This month, several of our schools brought their communities together by hosting a series of Iftar meals in honour of the concluding days of Ramadan. These events provided a meaningful opportunity for communities to celebrate faith, reflect on shared values and strengthen connections over delicious food.
Ramadan is a sacred month in Islam, observed through fasting, charity and acts of compassion. Iftar, which means “to break the fast”, is the evening meal shared at sunset, symbolising togetherness, gratitude and reflection.
Students and staff from King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls, King Edward's School and King Edward VI High School for Girls all took part in the celebrations, demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusivity, understanding and community spirit.
These events reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to Care and Collaboration, fostering inclusive and respectful environments where every member of our community is recognised, supported and valued.
