In August, staff from the King Edward VI Foundation joined forces with over 70 amazing volunteers and The Education Exchange West Midlands to transform the grounds of Hazel Oak School; an all ages special school for children with moderate learning difficulties.
After a full day of painting, refurbishing, and teamwork, the school was refreshed and ready to welcome students back to a bright, inspiring space for the new academic year.
"It’s incredible that educators from all across the region have come together to support us and I cannot wait to see the children's’ faces light up when they return to school and see the makeover that has taken place.” - Mr Andy Simms, Head Teacher at Hazel Oak School.
