Following feedback received, we have condensed the layout to provide even more great stories and news articles without the need to scroll through a lengthy document to find what you want to read.
As you go through the newsletter, if you would like to find out more on a particular subject, just click the ‘read more’ button, and you will be directed to the rest of the story which will now sit on a non-public facing section of our website. Only staff members with the correct link are able to access this meaning we can keep internal information safe.
You will also see that there has been a re-brand of the main charity logo. This follows external research and subsequent discussions with our own Internal Communications Group and Foundation Education Group. There was a clear message from our research and discussions that one of the biggest issues faced by our organisation was one of 'understanding'.
Denis Ramplin, Director for Marketing and Communications said, "The new logo and strapline clearly focusses on our heritage and our intent regarding the importance of education for all children across the City of Birmingham. We need people to understand who we are, what our values are and what our mission is."
Branding collateral and guidelines are currently being developed and will be sent out to schools in the coming months. In the meantime, if you have any questions or urgent branding requirements please do not hesitate to contact Denis Ramplin.
