Comprehensive Schools
There are six comprehensive schools within the King Edward VI Academy Trust:
King Edward VI Balaam Wood Academy
King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls’ Academy
King Edward VI Kings Norton School for Boys
King Edward VI Lordswood School for Girls
King Edward VI Northfield School for Girls
King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy
The schools are located across Birmingham and there is no entrance test or fees payable.
You can view further information about our comprehensive schools and their admissions policies here. Applications for entry to Year 7 at any of these schools are made via your Local Authority by 31 October, when your child is in Year 6.
