As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining data integrity, meeting our commitments in relation to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and keeping employee data up to date, we are asking all employees to check and update their personal data on our iTrent system by the end of the autumn term.
Several months have passed since your data was last checked on our systems and we are aware that some of this may have changed, as is inevitable over time. It is essential that we hold accurate records for you to ensure that we are meeting the obligations of your employment contract with us. Could you therefore please log on to iTrent and check and update all of the personal data that we hold for you.
The King Edward VI Foundation aims to create an inclusive environment for all staff by identifying and removing barriers in our practices. Creating a culture of inclusion in our schools is a key part of the Foundation’s EDI Strategy. The Foundation wants to see everyone thrive, valuing and promoting equality and we are asking all employees across the Foundation to update their diversity data on our iTrent system.
Whilst it is voluntary to disclose your personal and diversity data, doing so will enable us to ensure we hold accurate information for you, provide us with greater understanding of the composition of our workforce and help us to examine our policies and practices fully.
For the purposes of meeting our GDPR obligations, all data that you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence, will be anonymised and used to support reporting for the Foundation to find out if there is more that we could do to improve your experience. Your responses will be treated as highly sensitive, and no individuals will be identifiable from the data. All data disclosed will comply with the Data Protection Act and will be stored confidentially. All data that we process is handled and analysed in accordance with our King Edward VI Employee Privacy Notice.
