Gaining access to iTrent
During the month of April, we will be going live with our new HR and Payroll system, iTrent. During the week commencing 25th April, every member of staff will be individually emailed their log in credentials and link to the sign in page to their work email address. This will allow you to access the system to view your monthly payslips, the first of which will be available from 28th April. Please note, the email will be sent from [email protected] and will contain a web page link and make reference to your username and password, which will be needed to sign into iTrent.
At the same time, we will also issue instructions on how to change your password. We would urge all staff to do this immediately to ensure maximum security. A guide to help with changing your iTrent password can be found here
From 28th April, you will also be able to view and update your personal details. We would encourage staff to check to ensure that their personal details are correct. It is easy for you to update your own details through iTrent. If an important change is made, such as updating your address or bank details, the system will alert the payroll team to this to ensure the change is applied before the next pay run.
In addition to updating personal details, we would also like to use this opportunity to encourage staff to complete equality and sensitive data not previously gathered. This includes information relating to your nationality, ethnicity, disability etc. This information would be used only for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) monitoring and reporting purposes; data relating to a specific individual would not be disclosed. Such data can be useful in shaping EDI strategies and actions.
Instructions on how to access your payslip and update your personal details can be found at the iTrent Resources Hub
User support through the iTrent Resource Hub
The iTrent Resource Hub has been created and includes instructions and videos on how to complete key tasks on iTrent. The iTrent Resource Hub will be further developed over the forthcoming months.
We would like to thank those who took the time to attend the familiarisation sessions which ran throughout March and early April. We are planning to run two further ‘drop in’ sessions in May in order to answer any queries staff have post go live. We will advise you of these dates in due course.
Paper P60s available from May
P60s for all staff will be delivered to schools after 4th May. Future P60s will be generated via iTrent and will be accessible through your staff record in the same way as payslips.
Deadline for downloading historical payslips in Access
Staff will have until 13th May 2022 to download historical payslips from Access. After that date, this functionality on Access will be disabled.
