iTrent is now live!
We are pleased to report that we have fully migrated both the Foundation and Academy Trust’s payrolls from our Sage system to our new iTrent system. All payroll, pension and benefits processing is now being carried out in iTrent. As well as marking a key milestone in the iTrent project, this change represents a major shift forward in the Foundation’s modernisation agenda.
Accessing iTrent for the first time
During the week commencing 25th April, all members of staff were given their logon credentials for accessing their iTrent record through Employee Self Service (ESS). Users are urged to change their password at the earliest opportunity to ensure maximum security. A guide to help with changing iTrent passwords can be found here
The employee record contains information specific to each member of staff, such as personal details, role information, bank account and payslip records.
Staff can now view and update their personal details. As part of the migration to iTrent, data held in Access (Selima) was transferred over to the new system. We would encourage staff to check to ensure their details are correct and up to date. If an important change is made, such as updating your address or bank details, the system will alert the payroll team to this to ensure the change is applied before the next pay run.
Instructions on how to update your personal details can be found at the iTrent Resources Hub
Now Available – your April payslip
April payslips are now available to view online. Instructions on how to access your payslip can be found at the iTrent Resources Hub
On the 28th of each month, your payslip for that month will be available to view.
If you experience issues with iTrent
We are keen to ensure that all users are fully supported and build up their confidence in using the system. If the data held in iTrent is incorrect, we would advise you to speak to your HR Partner or the school’s PA. If you have any problems with logging on to iTrent, please email [email protected]. If you have any questions regarding your April payslip in iTrent, please email [email protected].
If you have any questions about your personal or employment details in iTrent, please email [email protected].
Future Functionality
Requesting annual leave
From September, it is anticipated that all-year-round non-teaching staff will be able to book and track their annual leave online through iTrent. More details on this will follow.
Paper P60s available from May
P60s for all staff will be delivered to schools after 4th May. Future P60s (April 2023 onwards) will be generated via iTrent and will be accessible through your staff record in the same way as payslips.
Final reminder to download historical payslips in Access
Staff will have until 13th May 2022 to download historical payslips from Access. After that date, this functionality on Access will be disabled.
