Ather joined the Foundation in November 2017 and lead key modernisation initiatives at the heart of the organisation.
Ather now heads up the Foundation and Academy Trust’s Digital Transformation Programme. This involves transforming the way the organisation works using digital and technology solutions to simplify operations, enhance collaboration, save money and reduce unnecessary workload. Ather has a master’s in Strategy and International Business and undergraduate degree in Business and Management. He has contributed to various organisations on a voluntary basis including being a member of the Department for Education’s Star Chamber Scrutiny Board. Ather grew up in Dubai and has lived in Birmingham for the last 10 years.
